The fight itself may have been a massive letdown in terms of action from bell to bell, but Tyson Fury's World heavyweight championship winning effort over Wladimir Klitschko on November 28 proved to be a blockbuster event on every level. From playing to a sold-out crowd of 50,000 at ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany, to Fury ending Klitschko's lengthy title reign, there was plenty to celebrate without actually focusing on the fight itself. The live presentation also made the HBO brass smile, as the Saturday afternoon matinee special averaged a staggering 1.038 million viewers.
After his recent defeat against Tyson Fury, Wladimir Klitschko decided to draw the contractual option for a rematch. "I was really frustrated directly after the fight but after some short nights I now know that I want to show that I am much better than my performance on Saturday. I couldn’t show my full potential at any time. This is what I want to change in the rematch – and I will. Failure is not an option.”
It’s been a whirlwind past few days for the heavyweight division, with plenty more to come for as long as Tyson Fury is ruling the roost. For the moment, unbeaten contender Vyacheslav Glazkov is doing his best to deal with all of the craziness and how every recent and forthcoming move affects his immediate future. With Fury’s recent November 28 unanimous decision win over Wladimir Klitschko on the road in Dusseldorf, Germany came recognition as the World heavyweight champion. Speaking ahead of his bout against American Daniel 'The Mountain' Martz at the Fight for Life in Hamilton on Saturday, Parker praised the British boxer for bringing the heavyweight division to life with his upset in Germany.

Klitschko has admitted he underperformed in losing his crown to Fury in a below-par contest in Dusseldorf last Saturday night and did not take long to reject any possibility of retirement.
BOLTON, ENGLAND — Being heavyweight champion of the world hasn't changed Tyson Fury much, at least judging by the maverick boxer's journey back to Britain after beating Wladimir Klitschko.
