Klitschko, Chisora Nearly Brawl at Nightclub in Ibiza

By Edward Chaykovsky

British heavyweight Dereck Chisora is back to his old tricks. According to a report in The Mirror, Chisora was involved in a near brawl with unified beltholder Wladimir Klitschko - after confronting the world champion at a nightclub in Ibiza (Island in Spain).

Chisora’s trainer Don Charles told the paper: “They have history but it was purely a coincidence that they bumped into each other during their holidays."

Last February, Chisora went wild during the entire fight week for his championship bout with older brother Vitali Klitschko. Chisora slapped Vitali at the weigh-in, spit water in Wladimir face during the fight intros and then brawled at the post-fight press conference with David Haye.

No confirmation if any punches were thrown in Ibiza but the paper states the two fighters were pulled apart by bouncers.

Wladimir is due to defend his WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF world titles against Alexander Povetkin in Moscow on October 5. Chisora returns on September 21 at Copper Box Arena.

If Chisora can't get to Wlad with his lack of punch power he'll more than make up for it with his total lack of all round ability.
So, TT is a bum now? Wow. I'd rather see Wlad fight Povetkin and Pulev.
Well, he's improved his record a lot since fighting Wlad the last time. If you are asking me if he's a bum, I'd probably say…
Wlad would gladly take a slap on cheek for the chance to whoop him and also get a decent payday out of it, which he would. He deserves it more than any of the last four bums klitschko has faced.
…
