Kid Galahad: Kell Brook Will Knock Shawn Porter Out!

By Rick Reeno

Undefeated Commonwealth super bantamweight champion Kid Galahad (17-0, 9KOs) is backing his stablemate, Kell Brook, to pull out a knockout victory on Saturday night, when he challenges Shawn Porter for the IBF welterweight championship at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Galahad accompanied Brook to the United States. He's been helping him, along with head trainer Dominic Ingle, put the finishing touches on his most important training camp to date.

"I think the way that it's going to pan out is - when Kell hits him, Shawn Porter is not going to know what hit him and the fight will completely change after that. I personally believes that Kell is one of the biggest and hardest hitting welterweights out there at the minute," Galahad told BoxingScene.com.

"I personally believe that he will knock out Shawn Porter. He hits way too hard, he's way too skillful...and it's going to be a good night, he's going to come home as champion of the world."
So now I'm a Porter fanboy because I view him as a legitimate contender, in his prime, on the way up. And favor him over a prospect. Wow. Do me a favor doe. Show me where I said Porter would…
Of course Brook will have his hands full! Porter is a significant step up and a good, solid fighter. But, it won't be an easy fight for either dude.... certainly not the landslide that you Porter fanboys think it'll be.
…

Porter has this, this fight is easy money. It could very likely be by an early KO but I hope Brook can last the distance and at least get the Devon Alexander treatment.
