BoxingScene.com was advised that a junior welterweight unification between WBC/WBO champion Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11), and WBA champion Amir Khan (24-1, 17KOs), is being positioned for the HBO televised date of July 23. The fight is going to happen in the United States, with Las Vegas and California as the two preferential locations.

Bradley's promoter Gary Shaw, and Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, who promotes Khan, met last week in Los Angeles and reached a verbal agreement on most of the major points in the deal.

Khan still has to win his next fight, which is scheduled for April 16 against undefeated Paul McCloskey in Manchester.
