Khan To Mayweather: When I Beat Broner, You Fight Me!

By Edward Chaykovsky

British star Amir Khan (28-3, 19KOs) is hoping that a victory over three division world champion Adrien Broner (27-1, 22KOs) will earn him a shot at Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs).

Khan was trying to get a shot at Mayweather on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, but the pound-for-pound king selected WBA champion Marcos Maidana for the date.

In his last fight, Broner was dropped twice and lost a twelve round decision to Maidana. Khan wants to earn the Mayweather shot by defeating the same man.

Khan took to his Twitter page, asking Mayweather to match him against Broner on the May 3rd undercard.

"Floyd Mayweather, tell Adrien Broner to fight me on your card and when I beat him, you fight me next," Khan wrote.

[QUOTE=TLC8;14287871]Do you just make this sh*t up and hope people believe it???? Deadbeat, let's see the excerpts from such stupid make-believe dialogue that never took place, are you kidding me? Mosley fought Oscar twice, went up and fought much larger…

[QUOTE=big_james10;14287319]Great response to an idiotic post. I would add that Mayweather first called Mosley out when Mayweather was at 130 and Mosley was fighting at 135. Mosley was 30-0 with 29 KOs at the time. Mosley turned the fight down…
