British contender Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) was partying it up in Las Vegas following his dominating twelve round decision victory over Devon Alexander at the MGM Grand. After the match, Khan demanded a fight with WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs).

According to Khan, Mayweather and his entourage arrived to the same nightclub. Khan, who was partying with his crew known as 'Khan's Army' - says Mayweather could have been tipped off that he was partying on the second floor and may left the club to avoid a potential confrontation.

"I heard he was in the same club in Vegas where we had the after-party but he was downstairs and I was upstairs. He walked in with 30 people with him. Maybe he ran away when he heard I was there. He wanted me to prove myself and I have done exactly that. Floyd is just trying to get into my head to try and disrupt me. It won't work though," Khan said.
