Khabib Allakhverdiev (19-1, 9KOs) is going to have a top of the line training camp, according to his promoter Vladimir Hryunov.

The Russian junior welterweight is scheduled to return on October 3rd against former three division world champion Adrien Broner (30-2, 22KOs). The vacant WBA 'regular' world title will be at stake.

Khabib is going to train with John David Jackson in Florida. Jackson is best known for training light heavyweight destroyer Sergey Kovalev. Jackson and Khabib have worked together in the past.

Khabib has been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. The boxer has been inactive since suffering a controversial twelve round decision loss to Jessie Vargas last April as part of the Manny Pacquiao-Tim Bradley rematch at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Broner suffered a decision loss at the same venue back in June, when he faced Shawn Porter.

"Khabib is now preparing for this fight in Russia, under the leadership of his brother Shafidina Allakhverdiev. On September 1 they will fly to the United States, where the final stage of his preparation for the fight will be crafted under the leadership of John David Jackson, who also trains Sergey Kovalev," Hryunov said.
