Dagenham's Kevin Mitchell has his first outing since beating John Murray when meeting unbeaten Irishman Stephen Ormond on Friday February 10th at London's historic York Hall venue.  BoxNation, Sky channel 456, will televise the contest.

Mitchell saw off a spirited effort from Murray in their July 16th domestic FOTY candidate only for legal troubles to prevent him from accepting a WBA lightweight title showdown with Brandon Rios, Manchester's Murray receiving the call instead and performing well before losing via eleventh round TKO.  Mitchell, 32-1 (24), has been training over the Christmas period and hopes to secure a WBO interim title showdown with Scotland's Ricky Burns should both win their next fights.

Ormond holds an 11-0 (5) record, 'The Rock' is taking a huge step up in class yet the 28-year-old will be confident of exploiting Kevin's ring rust and securing a top domestic scalp ahead of a big 2012.
