Kessler To Froch: Don't Worry, I'll Beat You Again

Mikkel Kessler (45-2, 34 KOs) is more than happy to take away another world title from Carl Froch (30-2, 22 KOs) – but only after he has defeated WBA Super-Middleweight Champion Brian Magee (36-4-1, 25 KOs) in their December 8 showdown at Jyske Bank BOXEN in Herning. The Cobra most recently claimed that Kessler would avoid a rematch of their epic battle in April 2010. Back then, the Viking Warrior handed Froch his first-ever defeat and won the WBC belt after 12 exciting rounds .

“Don´t you worry, Carl,” Kessler said. “I beat you once and I will beat you again. Enjoy your belt while you have it. And let me take care of business against Brian Magee first. Of course I am ready to fight you again, any time, any place, especially if Andre Ward is too scared to leave his backyard.”

Kessler, who has great respect for Froch, congratulated the Nottingham fighter on his successful IBF Title defence against Yusaf Mack. “That was a good win for you, congratulations,” he stated. “Keep it up and I am sure we will meet again.”

Tickets for the Nordic Fight Night at Jyske Bank BOXEN can be purchased at www.billetnet.dk .

[QUOTE=mikeMack;12721528]Kessler talks more than he fights. Kessie ain't going to Nottingham to fight Froch. It's debatable if Kessie even won the first Froch fight. Kessler fights the easy fights and takes the road well paved. Just a danish cream puff…

[QUOTE=SlimTim;12720712]Maybe it's the way Froch conducts himself with the media. When the guy talks he catches peoples' attention. Ward however is about as boring with a mic as Kendall Holt vs Mike Aranotis. Sure, Ward has fought great opposition, but…
