Kelly Pavlik May Land on Pacquiao vs Margarito Card

By Rick Reeno

BoxingScene.com was informed about the strong possibility that former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (36-2, 32KOs) will make his return on the pay-per-view undercard to Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito on November 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Pavlik has been on the shelf since dropping a unanimous decision to Sergio Martinez in April. The opponent is under discussion, but I've heard the guys at Top Rank want someone who is going to test Pavlik. I've been told the weight will be a max of 164, give or take a pound.

Pavlik is probably done as a fighter. The ass whipping he took against martinez exposed him as an ill prepared out of shape bleeder who was out classed again after Hopkins schooled Pavik and destoyed him. Pavlik is drinking too…

Pavlik will fight a nobody, you can count on it. Arum will never give away good fights on an undercard.

Pavlik vs Pirog would be great, but logical sense says too early for pirog not enough playtime in america, too risky for pavlik. Pirog is the only one that has anything to gain in that fight, if pavlik beats him,…

I would love to see Pavlik vs Andrade. I think this fight would be perfect with Pacquaio vs Margarito. Pavlik vs Pirog would be a headliner by Top Rank due to Arum's greedy @ss.
