Former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (37-2, 32KOs) has a lot of options in the super middleweight division. The Youngstown boxer is looking for something big to happen in 2011. After a minor layoff, Pavlik resumed his career on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard on May 7, winning a tough ten round decision over Alfonso Lopez. From the participants of the Super Six Boxing Classic, to the current champions, Pavlik is ready for all comers.
"There are a lot of guys out there. You have [Lucian] Bute, [Carl] Froch. Basically you have the entire Super Six. It's going to be interesting to see what happens with the fights right now. Froch and Bute are great fights. [Andre] Dirrell is still out there. [Andre] Ward, depending on what happens with him and his next fight. It's loaded and I'm that guy to take big fights with the big names. Whatever happens of however it unfolds, it will be the way we go," Pavlik told BoxingScene.com.
