Kell Brook could have plenty of big-name American options for his next fight, promoter Frank Warren has revealed.

The current WBO number one at welterweight is patiently waiting for his crack at a world title.

And Warren has had talks with counterpart Bob Arum for a potential clash with unbeaten American Mike Jones.

Brook could also be in line for a crack at Cornelius Bundrage, or even Miguel Cotto.

In Warren's latest column for The Sun, he revealed that Arum had spoken to him about Cotto - as well as Jones.

Cotto is a three-weight world champion who currently holds the WBA light-middleweight crown.

Bundrage is also a world champion at 154 pounds, and holds the IBF title.

A former Contender star, he may be a more realistic opponent for Brook than Cotto.

However the unbeaten former British champion may be tempted to stay at welterweight and wait on Manny Pacquiao giving up his WBO strap.
mike jones has nothing to gain from fighting kell brook.
Or vice versa! I don't think either guy has anything to gain. I was far from impressed watching Jones vs. Soto-Karass as all Jones did was go backward, flick his jab, occasionally throw a left to the body or oc...
And what do people gain from beating Mike Jones?
Nothing! The guy who said 'an all time great on his resume' almost made me pee my pants... hahahahaha

I can't really tell if Brook is any good. He gets matched up against some bums who as soon as the bell rings the are on the back foot and they do not even try to win. In that fight with Jennings they stopped the fight because of a small cut on Jennings, just when the fight was getting interesting.
