Eddie Hearn has confirmed that Kell Brook will rematch Carson Jones on a "Huge night of boxing" at Hull's Craven Park Stadium on July 13.  Brook-Jones II will be joined by Luke Campbell's pro debut and the Commonwealth lightweight title showdown between Hull's Tommy Coyle and Liverpool's Derry Mathews.

Brook, 29-0 (19), suffered a broken nose en route to a decision win over Jones, 35-9-3 (25), last year, but has been unable to move forward with his ill-fated showdown with Devon Alexander.  A rematch with Jones will give the Sheffield-based boxer the opportunity to shed some ring rust, he has fought not fought since wiping out Hector Saldivia in three rounds in October, and help get his world title bid back on target.

Campbll, 25, won bantamweight gold at the Olympic Games and is ready to take his professional bow in front of his hometown fans.  "We've got a big venue for this one and we can't wait to take Luke back to Hull," said Hearn when speaking to BoxingScene about the show.

So he ducked Devon to fight another bartender and milk the Sheffield crowds some more? This guy will never step up his competition, bloody coward

Great fight. First fight was a war and close so it definitely warrants a rematch. Why is it so hard to believe that brook was legitimately injured for the alexander fight? people think he spent all that money on training camps and promotion so that he could fake an injury lol...

[QUOTE=springfiels]Hmmmm looks like I might know a little about boxing then... Look for Brook to start TALKING about fighting a legit top 147lb fighter in mid-2014 after 2-3 "tune-ups" against nobodies. Say what you like about Khan, and me nah his biggest fan, but the guy definitely looks ...

[QUOTE=rogdogx]Alexander's team said they were moving forward when Brook got hurt a 2nd time. Brook doesn't have to sit around waiting for Devon. Taking on Carson Jones is viewed by many as the equivalent to Khan if he would have rematched Prescott. Sure Brook won as opposed to getting KO'd in th...
