Kameda-Ruiz Targeted For Los Mochis Clash in The Fall

By Isaac Guerra

Fernando Dominguez, manager for Hugo Ruiz (31-1, 28KOs), announced that his fighter will land a mandatory fight with WBA "regular" bantamweight champion Koki Kameda (28-1, 17KOs) on a date in October or November in Los Mochis, Mexico. Ruiz is the interim-champion under the WBA. The Governor of the State of Sinaloa, Mario López Valdez, and the mayor, Enciso Xochiua Zenén, are backing Ruiz-Kameda to take place in Los Mochis. Televisa will televise the event.
