Junior Jones, Robbie Davies Will Debut at Olympia

Coldwell Boxing will finally return to Liverpool on June 7th as a huge number of the city’s leading prospects will compete at the famous Liverpool Olympia on a quality event labelled “New Kids on the Dock.”

The highly-anticipated show will feature the long-awaited debuts of two of Merseyside’s finest young talents as Junior Jones and Robbie Davies will make their professional bows. Accompanying them will be a stellar cast that includes Coldwell Boxing’s Anthony Jevons and Chris Metcalf as well as Sean Dodd, Sean Lewis and Nick McDonald. Dave Coldwell is delighted to be returning to Liverpool after successfully staging the excellent “Big Bang” showcase which took place at the Echo Arena last spring.

“Liverpool is a quality boxing city and putting regular shows on there is something that Coldwell Boxing has wanted to do for some time now,” revealed Coldwell. “I’ve always got on well with the Liverpool crowds and they’ve continually asked me to put shows on there because they’re proper boxing people and they know what Coldwell Boxing is all about. June 7th will hopefully be the start of bigger things to come.

Coldwell added, “I’m expecting big things from the Liverpool lads in my stable and for some of them, it’s the first step on what will be an entertaining and successful journey. I’m confident that Liverpool will come out and support their guys because that’s one thing that Liverpool is renowned for. I’ve been around boxing for a long time now and the Liverpool fight crowd is one of the most passionate I’ve ever seen.”
