BoxingScene.com has been advised that Julian "J Rock" Williams (13-0-1) has agreed to face fellow junior middleweight prospect Hugo Centeno (19-0) in an interesting battle of unbeaten fighters. The fight hasn't been finalized but if Centeno's side agrees to the fight it will take place either in Las Vegas or Texas on a date in September.
Williams has fought three times this year. He stopped Jeremiah Wiggins and Dashon Johnson and also won an unanimous decision over Joachim Alcine. Centeno has won both of his fights this year, knocking out Isaac Mendez and outpointing KeAndrae Leatherwood. If this fight comes to fruition the winner will make a sizable jump in the rankings of all four major sanctioning bodies.
