Julian Williams-Michael Medina on ShoBox, May 16th

BoxingScene.com has been advised that blue chip junior middleweight prospect Julian Williams (15-0-1, 9KOs) will return to the ring on May 16th at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut against veteran Michael Medina (26-4-2). The fight will be televised on Showtime as part of their ShoBox series.

Williams last fought in March when he destroyed Freddy Hernandez in three rounds. Medina's last ring appearance took place just over a year ago when he was stopped by Willie Nelson.

Another hapless, hopeless setup with a guy who is .500 in his last 6 fights. No thanks. Pass.

I saw him for the first time two weeks ago and then i checked out a couple others on YT. He looks real solid for 15 fights or so.. outside and inside skills. DEfinitely someone to keep an eye on
