Peter Rivera of Puerto Rico Best Boxing, who promote Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez, says negotiations have begun for a rematch with WBO featherweight champion Orlando Salido of Mexico. Salido captured the belt from Lopez with an eight round stoppage in April. Rivera met with Salido's promoter Fernando Beltran, and Showtime executives, during last week's Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley event in Las Vegas. The rematch would happen on August 13 or August 20 in Puerto Rico.

"Last week we spoke with Fernando Beltran and he likes the idea, and so does Bob Arum [CEO of Top Rank]. Executives from Showtime were also present and they realize that it would be a great fight. We need to present the offer to Orlando Piñero (López's manager) and once the business side is settled, Showtime will be called to finalize the fight and then make the announcement," said Rivera to Carlos Gonzalez.
I agree but it's just a sign of the disrespect that a guy like Salido gets. JuanMa doesn't have the balls to go to Mexico and fight, that's why I have much more respect for Calderon. They are scared to go to Mexico.

Why Puerto Rico?......

Another thing Rican4life, I mean $HIT4BRAINS, Your little sweethearts JuanMa and Vasquez and Calderon can run but they can't hide. They are owned by Mexican's Segura, Salido, and Arce. You now have permission to praise the Mexican's you moron. Another Prima Donna PR fan bites the dust.

It is MORONS like Rican4life that make me enjoy seeing Puerto Rican's get their A$$ handed to them. Sorry Rican4life or I should call you $HIT4BRAINS cause your darlings got the $HIT beaten out of them by so called bums. You will never be wrongfully accused of having a brain.
