Juan Manuel Lopez Targets December, January Return

By Elisinio Castillo

Former two division champion Juan Manuel Lopez (33-3, 30KOs), 30-years-old, is looking to return on a date in December or January 2014. Lopez was knocked out in three rounds last month by Mikey Garcia. Garcia failed to make weight for that much and the bout still went forward. Lopez wants to capture at title at the super featherweight limit and plans to start training again next month.

"I will not return. I will start training again in August. I want to become a world champion again. I will fight at 130 and not return again to 126-pounds," Lopez said to Carlos Gonzalez.

Juanma, Please dont do this for your own health. I look better at 44 than what you looked against hypejob Mikey. Retire, get healthy and stay away! Posted from Boxingscene.com App for Android
