A deal has been reached for September 26, when former world champion Hernan "Tyson" Marquez will be given the opportunity to challenge the World Boxing Association (WBA) and World Boxing Organization (WBO) flyweight champion Juan Francisco "Gallo" Estrada.

Hector Vazquez, director of the Convention Center of Puerto Penasco, said Thursday the fight between the "Gallo" Estrada and "Tyson" Marquez will take place on September 26 at the resort of Sonora.

"Gallo" Estrada (32-2, 23 KO's) vs. "Tyson" Marquez (39-5-1, 28 KOs) will be promoted by Zanfer Promotions and broadcast by Azteca 7, the House of Boxing.

"I want to thank God for this new opportunity to fight for a world title. I'm convinced it's a great fight against a great champion, but I feel very confident," Marquez said during the press conference held on Thursday.

"I am convinced it will be a great fight, although many people are not giving me a chance, but the negative comments motivate me to prepare more to give a great fight."

Estrada is currently training in the mountains of Sonora. He hopes to continue his win streak to a future rematch with Nicaraguan Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez.

Marquez anticipates no issue with getting down to 112-pounds.

"It is the most important factor. I'm well, we're getting there little by little to 112- pounds. On Sunday I'll travel to Mexico City to continue our preparation and we are accompanied by a dietitian," Marquez said.

"We will make a careful preparation that allows me to get stronger for the fight and what happened to me against Giovani Segura will not happen again - where I practically lost the fight on the scale."
