Canelo Promotions, who guide the career of flyweight Oscar Blanquet (30-4-1, 21KOs), is trying to secure him a fight with WBA interim-champion Juan Carlos Reveco (27-1, 16KOs). Blanquet fought six times in 2011, but suffered a seven round TKO defeat to Ricardo Nunez in September. He returned on February 4th and stopped Juan Martinez in four rounds. Blanquet's promoter is trying to make the fight in Mexico. Reveco, who fought the majority of his career in Argentina, has fought in the past in Mexico, France and Uruguay.
