Lightweight super prospect José Pedraza, whose debut on Feb. 18 was spectacular, will allegedly will be the cover of the March issue of ESPN Magazine Espanol, according to sources. Pedraza, who was an international star, winning many medals including gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2010.
His projection as a future world champion like Miguel Cotto and Juan Manuel Lopez apparently caught the attention of the magazine which outlined his history in boxing in a three-page interview.
So impressed the promoters Javier Bustillo, Gary Shaw and Lou DiBella already placed him at a function in New York for his second pro fight on March 29, and it will mark his professional debut outside of Puerto Rico.
