Jose Pedraza Faces Gabriel Tolmajyan on August 9, ESPN

By Elisinio Castillo

Puerto Rico's super featherweight contender, Jose "Sniper" Pedraza (13-0, 9 KOs), will return to action on Friday, August 9, at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California. The fight will be televised as part of ESPN's Friday Night Fights. Pedraza will face tough spoiler Gabriel Tolmajyan (14-2-1, 3KOs), who recently took the undefeated records of Jorge Maysonet Jr. and also handed Daulis Prescott his first career defeat.

"He's a strong opponent who has good experience and I know I have to be well prepared to go to war with him," said Pedraza. "I feel I'm ready to take my career to another level and these are the types of fights that I have to win in order to do that. I have hunger to win and I understand that I am a better fighter than him

Pedraza is part of the group known as Team Puerto Rico, being promoted by the promoters Universal Promotions, Gary Shaw Productions and DiBella Entertainment.
