Hot Puerto Rican super featherweight prospect Jose "Sniper" Pedraza (9-0, 6 KOs) dominated Charles "Special Edition" Claudio (14-7-3, 6KO) over eight rounds to win an easy unanimous decision. The fight took place at the Coliseo Mario "Quijote" Morales in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Pedraza was able to confuse his opponent with constant guard switches and landed very hard shots on Claudio, who never gave up and continued to come forward all night.

"I expected a lot from my opponent. He came fast and hard and it was a war. I was changing my guard because lefties almost always fight with righties and I used my guard to continue dominating the left-hander," said Pedraza, who is promoted by Universal Promotions, Gary Shaw Productions and DiBella Entertainment.

In the co-feature, at 154, Jorge "Destroyer" Melendez (23-2, 22 KOs) demolished Germaine Sanders (27-11, 17 KO) to obtain a victory by TKO in the third. Sanders visited the canvas in the first round and twice in the third round, the third knockdown promoted the referee to stop the fight.
