Jose 'El Indio' Miranda (12-11-3, 8KOs), 32-years-old, has received the opportunity of a lifetime. The boxer has now been offered the chance to challenge Argentine champion Diego 'La Joya' Chaves (21-0, 17 KO) for the interim-welterweight (147 pounds) title of the World Boxing Association (WBA). The fight will be held on September 22 at the legendary Estadio Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
'I never expected something like this in my life. I've worked for 12 years and every boxer wants to be world champion. Now the opportunity has come to me, and I don't want to miss it," Miranda said. "This is a golden opportunity for me because it may be the last of my career, and I look forward to it."
