Jose Luis Castillo Added To The Humberto Soto Undercard

By Miguel Rivera

Former champion Jose Luis Castillo (62-11-1, 53KOs) has been added to this Saturday's card at Playa del Carmen in Quintana Roo, Mexico, where junior welterweight Humberto Soto faces Adailton De Jesus in the main event. Castillo, 37-years-old, will take on tough journeyman Sammy Ventura (32-21, 20KOs) in a stay-busy fight. It marks Castillo's second bout of the year and the first since losing a twelve round decision to Jorge Paez Jr. in March.

Jose Luis Castillo good to read something new about him. But very eye opening to see he lost to Paez Jr. he should be retired and liveing the good life in Mexico. Castillo vs. Corrales all-tim classic.
imajine where his career would be now if he wasnt robbed back in the day by floydie!!!!!
Just the same. Floyd would have beaten him in the rematch and Corrales-Castillo would have still ended up killing each other.
