Jose Gonzalez Stops Campos, Arroyo Crushes Galaviz

At the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Jose Gonzalez (14-0, 10KOs) knocked out Derrick Campos (20-11, 11KOs) in the fifth round of their bout. Campos was down in the third. The bout was fought at an agreed weight of 137-pounds.

In a six round bout fought at 113-pounds, prospect McWilliams Arroyo (6-1, 5KOs) stopped Manuel Galaviz (3-4) in the first round. He dropped Galaviz down hard and the corner stopped the contest at 2:58.
