BoxingScene.com has been advised that 20 year-old super featherweight prospect Jose Felix Jr. (21-0-1) is currently  negotiating a promotional deal with Top Rank.

The Los Mochis, Sinaloa native scored the biggest win of his career last night when he defeated Luis Cruz (20-2) via unanimous decision at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Felix shook off a first round knock down and dominated the second half of the fight.

Cruz is promoted by both Top Rank and Miguel Cotto Promociones. Felix is a free agent.

He deserves it. I couldn't believe my eyes when he almost got the first round KO. Looking forward to seeing Felix again.
