Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino, Chandler, Arizona - Hot junior welterweight prospect Jose Benavidez Jr. (12-0, 11KOs) prevailed in his hometown return, with a four round stoppage of Corey Alarcon (14-18-1, 4KOs). Their main event fight was scheduled for six rounds. Benavidez, who picked up his third win and second knockout of the year, is promoted by Top Rank.

Xcaret, don't be an idiot. Mayweather fought Louie Leija and Hector Arroyo at the same number of fights and those guys were WAY better than the 6-7 crap Benevidez just scraped up from the bottom of the barrel. Another protected fighter fighting a bunch of SETUPS!
