Jose Benavidez Stops Corey Alarcon in Four Rounds

Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino, Chandler, Arizona - Hot junior welterweight prospect Jose Benavidez Jr. (12-0, 11KOs) prevailed in his hometown return, with a four round stoppage of Corey Alarcon (14-18-1, 4KOs). Their main event fight was scheduled for six rounds. Benavidez, who picked up his third win and second knockout of the year, is promoted by Top Rank.
