Jorge Arce Targets a Roman Martinez Title Showdown

By Miguel Rivera

If he can't secure a fight with Nonito Donaire, then Jorge Arce is going to target the next best thing. The former four division world champion wants to target yet another championship belt. The pride of Los Mochis is looking to return on December 8 - possibly as part of the Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez undercard on December 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Arce (61-6-1, 46 KOs) would like to get his hands on the Roman Martinez (26-1-1, 16KOs) of Puerto Rico, who recently captured the WBO super featherweight title. Martinez recently won the title by split decision with a victory over Mexico's Miguel Beltran Jr.

"I do not have anything confirmed yet. The idea is to go for our sixth world title in a different weight division on December 8 against Martinez. Right now I want to continue making history and so be it. I captured five world titles and now I'm looking for the sixth. I hope that it gets confirmed. I would be delighted and I'll steal the show," Arce said by telephone from Los Mochis.
Yeah, he hit Arce THREE times in a row with Illegal punches, idiot.
Arce still bitched out. He may have knocked Rojas down but Rojas tied the round and was pressuring Arce like crazy and landing big shots.

That's a large jump to go to 130, TR will give Magdalena the opportunity to dislodge that paperstrap from Rocky
