| Jorge Arce-Roman Martinez in Play For November 24th
|
|
By Miguel Rivera According to promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions, he is already exploring the possibility of a fight between former four division world champion Jorge Arce of Los Mochis and WBO super featherweight king Roman Martinez of Puerto Rico. The potential date is November 24, says Beltran. Last week, Arce (61-6-1, 46 KOs) expressed his desire to fight Martinez (26-1-1, 16KOs) for the title. Martinez recently captured the championship by split decision with a victory over Mexico's Miguel Beltran Jr. Tags: Jorge Arce , Roman Martinez |

According to Juan Carlos Burgos, He can give Arce the opportunity to be KO after Burgos destroys Martinez. Lets see if Arce still want's to be fighting in the Super Featherweight division. |

Arce moving up more is a mistake. Dude was starting to get bullied by Rojas. Martinez would eat him alive. |

I'll be rooting for Arce to pull the upset but really can't see him doing it giving up so much weight, but at the same time I can see it ending like the WV2. I much rather see Burgos take that belt from Martinez he would have a better chance being a legit 130 pounder! |
