Jorge Arce Could Now Face Osejo or Martinez on 9/22

By Miguel Rivera

Former four division world champion Jorge Arce (60-6-2, 46KOs) has two new names that are being linked to his scheduled return on September 22nd in Los Mochis, Mexico.

The two names being mentioned are Mauricio Martinez (36-12-1, 24KOs) of Panama and Eusebio Osejo (21-11-2, 7KOs) of Nicaragua, who lost a ten round decision to Cristian Mijares in June. Veteran Rogers Mtagwa was previously mentioned as a possible option.

After his hometown fight, Arce would like to return in December against the winner of Toshiaki Nishioka-Nonito Donaire, taking place on October 13th.

Rojas definitely made Arce's stock drop. The fact that Arce is not even acknowledging Rojas at all as a future opponent speaks volumes. :owned2:
