Jonathan Vidal, Janiel Rivera Will Co-Headline in Caguas

On Saturday October 20 at the Roger Mendoza Coliseum in Caguas - "ON FIRE: Boxeo Boricua in Caguas" - will be presented by Miguel Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment. Unbeaten bantamweight Jonathan "Pitbull" Vidal (16-0, 8KO’s) takes on hard-hitting Josean "The Train" Figueroa (8-2-1, 7KO's) in a 10-round bout for the vacant WBC regional FECARBOX bantamweight championship.

"I am very happy with this great opportunity to fight for the WBC FECARBOX championship. I am at my best and for sure I will get an impressive win on Oct. 20th in Caguas", Vidal said.

In the co-main, minimumweight Janiel Rivera (9-0-2, 4KO's) and veteran Omar "El Pastor" Soto (15-7-1, 6 KOs) will battle in an eight round fight for the vacant WBC regional FECARBOX minimumweight championship.

"Pastor Soto is a great challenge for me, having so much experience. But I am well prepared for anything that he will bring that night," said Janiel Rivera.

Vidal vs. Figueroa, a ten round fight in the bantamweight division, is promoted by Miguel Cotto Promotions together with H2 Entertainment, and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate. Doors open at 6:00 pm with the first bout beginning at 7:00pm. The TeleFutura broadcast begins at 9:00pm.
