Johnny Garcia steadily picked apart Oscar Ibarra en route to an 11th round stoppage win Friday evening in Mexico City, Mexico.

Garcia (17-4-1, 9KO) was in control for much of the night, pressuring Ibarra and remaining the busier fighter throughout. A combination at center ring left Ibarra (27-9, 18KO) defenseless, at which point the referee stepped in to stop the contest.

The official time was 0:23 of the 11th round.

UNDERCARD

Carlos Ruiz (7-0, 2KO) enjoyed a rare easy night's work against hapless Angel Navarette (7-13, 5KO), scoring a 1st round knockout. A left hook to the body was enough to put Navarette down and out for the full ten count just under two minutes into the opening round.
