Baja Boxing announced that Marvin Quintero (24-3, 20Kos) would face the dangerous John Molina Jr. (23-1, 19KOs) in an IBF final eliminator on February 17th at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. The winner would get the opportunity to challenge champion  Miguel Vazquez.

"This is the most important fight of my career. I will not miss this opportunity because it will lead to a championship fight and that's something I've dreamed about since I made my debut. We know Molina is tough, with a lot of tools and a good punch. We've seen videos of him and I think it's going to be an exciting fight," Quintero said.

Fight of the Year 2012 coming (if it lasts more than 2 rounds). Molina's chin is going to be tested here, but I have him winning in the middle rounds

Molina by KO, should be a good fight while it lasts, but John got some good KO power and a chin to match. I dont think its going to be a quick KO though probably around rd 6. Molina will likely get handled by Titere though it will look simliar to Vazquez-Kim

Yea Molina probably knocks him out, he has fought and beat tougher opposition, knocking out most of them while never geting stopped. Quintero has been stopped in all his loses, to questionable opposition.
