John Molina Hires Robert Garcia, Eyed By Ricky Burns

By Ryan Burton

BoxingScene.com has been advised that lightweight contender John Molina Jr. (24-2, 19KOs) is now being trained by Robert Garcia out of his Garcia Boxing Academy in Oxnard, CA.

Garcia has a deep stable of fighters including his brother Mikey Garcia, Nonito Donaire, Brandon Rios, Marcos Maidana and many others.

Molina is looking to bounce back from his September 8th 1st round knockout loss to WBC lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco.

According to our sources Molina is looking to return to the ring in December or January and is also being looked at as a potential opponent for WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns (35-2, 10KOs), who is scheduled to take place on December 15th.
