BoxingScene.com has been advised that lightweight contender John Molina Jr. (24-2, 19KOs) is now being trained by Robert Garcia out of his Garcia Boxing Academy in Oxnard, CA.

Garcia has a deep stable of fighters including his brother Mikey Garcia, Nonito Donaire, Brandon Rios, Marcos Maidana and many others.

Molina is looking to bounce back from his September 8th 1st round knockout loss to WBC lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco.

According to our sources Molina is looking to return to the ring in December or January and is also being looked at as a potential opponent for WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns (35-2, 10KOs), who is scheduled to take place on December 15th.

Garcia doesn't teach people how to take Knees. You either have it or you dont.
Why is Ricky Burns eyeing Molina after he was beaten in the 1st round of his last fight?
I was thinking the same thing. Molina is better than that last fight, but he definitely needs to get another win before title holders are looking at him for a fight.
