Johan Perez on Guerrero vs Aydin Card, Against Katsidis?

By Jhonny Gonzalez

According to the management of WBA interim-junior welterweight champion Johan Perez (15-0-1, 12KOs), he will make his American debut on July 28th in San Jose, California. Perez will defend his belt on the Robert Guerrero-Selcuk Aydin undercard at the HP Avilion. Several opponents are being explored, but Perez's team would still likel to secure veteran contender Michael Katsidis (28-6, 23KOs), who recently dropped an upset ten round majority decision to Albert Mensah.

"Glad that everything turned out well and I have a date for my defense. It will be an honor for me to put the name of my country on top and continue my career with the help of Golden Boy Promotions," said Perez.

Johan Perez looks a good fighter but it's dissapointing to see Katsidis now being lowered to probably below gatekeeper status

Unlucky for Katsidis...retire Bro. Does he remind you of Marcos Maidana or is it just me? All Brawl and no Box...known for massive amounts of power but hasn't had a KO in a long time, both having heavy defeats defeats…
