London’s Joey Taylor, 1-0 (1), has had to withdraw from Friday’s BoxNation-televised bill at his home city’s York Hall venue after picking up an injury during fight week. Dean Powell, the matchmaker for Frank Warren Promotions, confirmed the news to BoxingScene earlier tonight.
The 24-year-old made his professional début on July 5, a single round win over Michael Stupart at the York Hall, but will now have a to wait for his second outing. This will no doubt disappoint his vocal fans — the youngster brought ample support to his first fight.
