IBF/WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan has gone from taking shots at Joel Casamayor (38-5-1, 22 KOs), to supporting the boxer on all accounts. After Khan became critical of Casamayor being selected as the opponent for WBO ljunior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11 KOs), who clash as part of the Pacquiao-Marquez undercard on November 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas - the Cuban fighter tore into Khan on BoxingScene.com. Khan issued his response, but probably not the kind of response Casamayor expected.

WBA/IBF junior welterweight champion Amir Khan is continuing to fire verbal jabs at his WBO counterpart, Timothy Bradley. Khan is still upset with Bradley turning down a lucrative deal for a planned unification bout. The fight was going to take place this past July, but when Bradley rejected a seven-figure deal, he was replaced with then IBF champion Zab Judah.

Top Rank's President, Todd duBoef, spoke to The Desert Sun paper and explained that his company has big plans ahead for uneabten WBO 140-pound champion Timothy Bradley (27-0). He debuts for Top Rank on the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez undercard on November 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Bradley will face Cuban veteran Joel Casamayor. DuBoef wants to build Bradley's name and make him a star.

Joel "Cepillo''Casamayor is hoping to get in the ring very soon. The boxer had been scheduled to face Jorge Teron in an ESPN televised fight on July 29th in Las Vegas, but the Cuban boxer was involved in a car accident which caused injuries to his ribs and back. The doctor advised Casamayor to stay away from training for at least a month and he withdrew form the fight. Casamayor is waiting for the doctors to give him approval to resume training.

If a deal is reached, the fight would likely take place at junior welterweight at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
