Joel Casamayor vs. Joan Guzman on Marquez-Diaz PPV

By Ernest Gabion

BoxingScene.com was advised by manager Luis DeCubas Jr. that Joel Casamayor will indeed face Joan Guzman on the HBO pay-per-view undercard to the rematch between Juan Manuel Marquez and Juan Diaz, scheduled to take place on July 31 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

The former champions are meeting in a very important crossroads battle, likely to take place at the junior welterweight limit of 140-pounds.

"We are going to take his '0,'" - a confident DeCubas told BoxingScene.com.

[QUOTE=QUELOQUE;8243916]Good move for Guzman to keep his fat ass in the ring after only a cew months. Joan might be a problem at 140, especially if he would've gotten the Maidana fight. He's only brought this upon himself, but hopefully…
