Joe Cortez Selected To Referee Ramos vs Rigondeaux

BoxingScene.com has been advised that veteran referee Joe Cortez was selected to work the upcoming super bantamweight clash between WBA champion Rico Ramos, and mandatory Guillermo Rigondeaux, which takes place at the Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nev. Ramos (20-0, 11 KOs) vs. Rigondeaux (8-0, 6 KOs) will be televised by Showtime.

Damn how is this guy still allowed to ref lol. I think Cortez and Mora are the worst in the game right now. I am sure I am missing one or 2 more, but these guys have ruined many fights.

2 very fast fighters w/ a ref that has trouble putting 1 foot in front of the other...Cortez needs to be deactivated, permanently...the only 1 on his lower level is Mora...a good selection would've been Tony Weeks, a pretty good…
