The ongoing legal saga between Joe Calzaghe and former promoter Frank Warren may be over, for now. Calzaghe has been awarded around £1.8million, winning his lawsuit against Warren and his company Sports Network. Judges refused Warren’s request to appeal the High Court ruling.

Calzaghe has claimed the money was owed from last April’s decision win over Bernard Hopkins. Warren denied the claim and said it was Calzaghe who owed him £1million for breaking a verbal promotional contract. Justice Wyn Williams dismissed Warren's claim in March and ordered the promoter to pay Calzaghe his money.

Since that ruling, Warren’s company Sports Network would go into administration.

Joe Calslappy should be a little more grateful to the architect of the most fraudulent career in all of boxing. Not to mention a career path that Zsolt Erdei is jealous of.
im not an expert but i think the loser of the case pays for the costs, ie. frank, not Joe. But like I said earlier Joe will be lucky to get £5 a week of him.
The company is in admin already being wound up.It's gonna be dissolved soon and Calzaghe is getting nothing,n...
