Jhonny Gonzalez: After Osejo, I'm Fighting Ponce De Leon
By Miguel Rivera
Former champion Jhonny Gonzalez (52-8 45KOs) is in the final stage of his preparation for his upcoming fight against Nicaraguan Eusebio "Cascabel" Osejo on Feb. 23 in Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo, and the fight will be teleivsed by Televisa Sports as part of their "Sabados De Corona."
In his last match, Gonzalez lost an eight round technical decision to Daniel Ponce De Leon last September. Gonzalez has a rematch clause. Osejo will certainly serve as a parameter to see how we will perform in the return match for the world championship," said Gonzalez.
