Jhonny Gonzalez Looking at Return in August, September

Jhonny Gonzalez (56-8, 47KOs) is already back in the gym, preparing to return to the ring as early as August or September.

The World Boxing Council Featherweight champion successfully defended his crown last month against Clive Atwell in Acapulco. Since then the challenges have been pouring in. There has been some mentions of a battle with Jorge Arce, but several other boxers are trying to get a shot at Gonzalez as well.

"I don’t want to spend a lot of time without fighting, I will be training for any possible  opponent. I'm ready, my promoters are responsible for getting me the opponent. I just want to face the best in the division," stressed Johnny, who also said he has now recovered from the cut he suffered in the bout against Atwell.

Rocky Juarez won the silver title so that could be a possibility after all he doesn't have a loss to Gonzalez on his resume yet.
I see, but Donaire was ranked higher than Mares before and Donaire KO Nishioka who KO Gonzales in 3 rounds. Donaire should be ranked higher than both Gonzales & Mares.
What the..? First off having 8 losses mean nothing, boxing…
