Jhonny Gonzalez to Jorge Arce: You Want It, You Got It!

By Alfredo Jaime Gomez, notifight.com

Promoter Reginaldo Kuchle of Promociones del Pueblo, spoke to his boxer, WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez, regarding the challenge that was recently issued by WBO super bantamweight champ Jorge Arce. Both boxers are fighting in the month of September. If they both win, then Arce wants to challenge Gonzalez in December. Gonzalez told Kuchle that he's willing to accept that fight.

"I read where 'Travieso' Arce said he was hoping that he and Jhonny Gonzalez win their fights in September - in order to create a match between the two of them in December. I have been told in advance that [Gonzalez] is ready to stand alongside the best, so I can say that it's already a fact that [Gonzalez] accepts the challenge," Kuchle said.

"We have always said that Arce is a very brave fighter. And it's not only what I'm saying, the whole world knows he is a brave guy and charismatic, but Jhonny is not far behind. "
