TUCSON, Ariz. – Worthy of its name, FIREPOWER II will make an explosion over Tucson’s desert sky later this month, when it loads 8 fights into the boxing ring of CASINO DEL SOL RESORT, southern Arizona’s premier resort and casino.

Showdown Promotions, in association with Top Rank Inc, is thrilled to announce its next fight card televised by TV AZTECA.  The event will be taking place at the Casino Del Sol AVA Amptheatre Saturday, May 26th, and will feature in its main event, Mexican strongman Jesus Soto Karass (24-7, 16 KOs) from Los Mochis, Sinaloa. The always crowd pleasing fighter be facing 10-1-1 Said “The Messenger” El Harrak.

Supporting Soto Karass will be undefeated and highly ranked prospect, Hanzel “El Tornadito” Martinez (17-0, 14 KOs). The brother-in-law of the former three- time world champion, Antonio Margarito, will be taking the next step in his career, inching closer to what every fighter strives for, becoming a world champion.  But first, El Tornadito will have to face an experienced and tough German Cruz (21-6-1; 16 KOs).
