When the return of Manny Pacquiao (58-6-2) was announced against WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas (27-1), the fight was met by some fans and media members with criticism.  The fight will be broadcast by a yet to be named pay-per-view distributor and will take place November 5th at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 27-year-old Vargas isn't paying attention to the criticism.  In a loaded welterweight division, he feels that he is the top dog and will prove it in the ring against the iconic Pacquiao.

"I am going to show that I am the best in the welterweight division and who better to show it against than Manny Pacquiao? I am not just all talk. I am going to show it with my punches and you will see it on November 5th. Tune in and see it. On November 5th you will see an action packed fight and you will get your monies worth. I promise you that I will give it my all and show how much of a warrior I am. I don't back down and take no back steps. " said Vargas.

He has heard the critics and is already in camp training earnestly for the biggest fight of his life. Vargas said that everyone who is doubting him is in for a big surprise.

"All the people who doubt me, I will prove you wrong come November 5th. Boxing commentators and analysts - all of you guys - I will shut you guys up on November 5th. No matter what I have to do I am coming out with that victory," Vargas told BoxingScene.com.

"I want to show the fans that I am the people's champ. A guy you see in the street, anywhere, in the mall and is willing to talk to you."
