BoxingScene.com has been advised that Jessie Vargas (17-0) and Deandre Latimore (22-3) will return on a February 24th edition of ShoBox.  The venue and both fighters opponents are still to be determined.

Latimore, a junior middleweight contender, recently signed with Mayweather Promotions. The Las Vegas based promotional company also guides Vargas' career.  Vargas is moving up to welterweight after campaigning in the junior welterweight division for most of his career.

Look at Mayweather promotions headlining a card with a double header on a network. Very nice, I wonder if they're doing it on their own. I think this is the first time Mayweather promotions got a date that doesn't involve Floyd. Which means they're coming along and might become a true player as p...

Jessie Vargas might be a future champ. I thought he was gonna lose his last time out with Josesito Lopez but he fought toe 2 toe with him and got the well deserved victory. Vargas vs. Peterson would be an all out blood and guts WAR
