Jesse Magdaleno-Jonathan Arrelano Set For 12/6

By Ryan Burton

BoxingScene.com has been advised that undefeated super bantamweight prospect Jesse Magdaleno (12-0) will face Jonathan Arrellano (13-1) for the NABO Youth title on December 6th at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

Magdaleno destroyed Jose Silveira via 1st round TKO in their fight Saturday night at the Wynn Hotel and Casino. Arrellano suffered his only defeated in his last fight which took place in September against Roman Morales.

The bout will serve as on the undercard of a special edition to ESPN2's boxing series. Raymundo Beltran faces Ji-Hoon Kim in the main event. Magdaleno-Arrelano is targeted as a swing bout, with no guarantee that it will make the televised portion of the show.

The network normally runs its Friday Night Fight series from early January through late August, but has been known to offer select telecasts late in the year in conjunction with bigger events.

This particular card will run as part of a big boxing weekend in Vegas, capped by the fourth fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez on December 8.
