A few weeks ago a fight between WBA/IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and undefeated challenger Bryant Jennings was nearly sealed to take place April 25th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The fight would be televised by HBO.

That was before Jennings' promoter Gary Shaw merged his company with upstart boxing promoter Roc Nation Sports and now it is uncertain if the fight will come to fruition.

"You know how business is," Jennings told BoxingScene.com.  "Until a decision is announced then it's still alive."

Jennings is in Las Vegas to watch the WBC title tilt between champion Bermane Stiverne and unbeaten challenger Deontay Wilder.  The fight takes place at the MGM Grand.

The Philadelphia native is still the mandatory challenger to the Stiverne-Wilder winner and said that is his plan b if the Klitschko fight doesn't come to fruition.

"I am still in line for that if God forbid this (Klitschko fight) doesn't happen. I'm still in line for this so I'm in a great position," said Jennings.

As for a prediction for Saturday night, Jennings said that he gives the edge to Stiverne even though he feels a future fight against Wilder would be much more lucrative.

"I think Stiverne is going to jump on him and that is ether going to make or break Deontay Wilder. I think Stiverne is going to win but I would say for marketability and America - I would rather have Wilder win because I think that would be a bigger fight between two Americans,"   Jennings stated.
